Wednesday, November 5th, 2008
BRIDGEHAMPTON, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–

Hamptons Luxury Homes (OTCBB:HLXH) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Telemark Inc., today announced that the website for the Hamptons Green Alliance, (”HGA”) has gone live at:

http://www.hamptonsgreenalliance.org/

The site may be the first ever formed by a consortium of local building professionals committed to green initiatives in building. It is designed specifically for consumers and includes a variety of tips and informational articles and videos. Some of the initial articles, all prepared by members of the HGA who are recognized leaders in their respective fields, focus on topics such as:

  • Simple tips to improve my footprint
  • Alternative energy basics
  • How can my insulation choice make me greener?
  • How can a smart home reduce energy usage?
  • How do I select the best HVAC system?
  • How can I create beauty and health in my landscape and do it naturally?
  • How can updating my heating system better the environment?

In addition, there are various categories and opportunities for blogging and on-line conversations to commence on a variety of green building topics between contractors, consumers and interested parties.

“It is our hope that this site will enable consumers not only in the Hamptons, but throughout the country to find answers to questions that they are starting to ask about building in an environmentally-friendly manner so they can make the decision to go green,” said Frank Dalene, president of Telemark, Inc., who spearheaded the effort to form the group. “I’m delighted that in addition to Telemark, our charter members include Connected Hearth, Delfino Insulation Company, Inc., Flanders Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., SunStream USA and Treewise. All of us have been recognized for our commitment to the environment in our individual areas of expertise. We came together to form this alliance as a result of the questions that each of us regularly answered from our customers. It is our belief that we can work together to provide the information required to build zero energy homes and carbon neutral homes in the future.”

The website will be promoted in an initial ad that is scheduled to appear in VOX Magazine on September 19 and followed up by other local publications.
